FAIR Release Notes: 2.12.0

First released: 4th June 2024

Summary

This release introduces the ability to run data conversion jobs from the data management tab, full details of this change can be found in the Managing Data section of the DRE Knowledge Base. This release also contains some minor back end updates, and introduces some foundational changes for a new feature detailed below.

Upcoming items

Our work with the PHEMS project is introducing federated analysis as a native feature of the DRE, allowing researchers to access data in other organisations and jurisdictions in a way that would previously not have been possible. More detail on this important new feature will be available in the coming months.
