Timebound Workspaces

An administrator may add a time limit on access to your workspace.  When a restriction is added to a workspace, it must be acknowledged and accepted before you can enter the workspace.

If you have a bookmark to your workspace and use that to try to access it after a restriction has been added, you’ll be presented with a warning message.

When a time restriction is placed on your workspace, the workspace card will indicate this with a restriction label and date. For example, the following workspace shows timebound access until 26th March 2026.

To enter the workspace after a timebound restriction has been added, select the option to review the restrictions. When reviewing restrictions, users will be presented with details on the expiry and any other applicable requirements.

Clicking accept will record and audit your acceptance of workspace restriction(s) and allow you to enter the workspace. Restrictions only need to be accepted once upon entry, or if subsequent restrictions are added to the workspace.

Seven days prior to the expiration date, workspace users will be notified and reminded.

Once the workspace timebound restriction has expired, the workspace will no longer be accessible to users and the workspace card will reflect the end date.

Should any workspace members require a change or extension to the timebound restriction, they should contact their platform administrator to arrange.
