This release contains further changes in support of the migration to a new DAR approval workflows. The key steps and dates in this migration are detailed below.
Workflow Migration
What is happening:The release note for FAIR 2.61 detailed the replacement of the software used to manage custom DAR approval workflows. The primary benefit of this change is that it allows us to bring the entire DAR process inside FAIR, providing users with a more integrated approval process.

What you need to do:
As detailed in the previous release note, the majority of the migration is being managed by the Aridhia team. Only the final step, switching from the legacy workflows to their replacements, needs to be managed by data owners.
Data owners with custom workflows will have from late August until 25 September to manage this transition, and will be supported by their customer success manager throughout the process.
Why we are taking this approach:
We are taking this approach as we have no way of moving active requests from the legacy workflows to their replacements, so any open requests need to be closed before the switch deadline of 25 September.
Therefore data owners are best placed to determine when to make the switch themselves.
What will happen if a workflow is not migrated by the deadline:
Any legacy workflows that have not been switched over by 25 September will be switched by the Aridhia team, and any in progress legacy requests will be suspended as incomplete.
