Workspaces Version 4.1

First Released: 29 September 2025

This release includes some improvements to the new Office editing experience as well as some other small bug fixes and improvements.

Collabora Draw app icon not showing correctly	BugFix	AT-2453	We have fixed a bug where a missing image icon is shown in the draw app in some browsers
Remove R 4.1.1, set 4.5.1 as default	Enhancement	AT-2457	R 4.1.1 is no longer available and R 4.3.2 (the former default version for consoles and Shiny apps) is deprecated, meaning it will be removed next, following the DRE R Maintenance Policy. This only affects R consoles and Shiny apps. RStudio and Jupyter Notebook are unaffected.
"Open as Text" no longer an option for plain text file types	BugFix	XAP-28593	We have fixed a bug where some users could not open .txt files in the workspaces native editor. This option is again available via the context menu on files
can create a db table without providing a schema - Helper Text stating mandatory is wrong	BugFix	XAP-28539	We have updated some helper text in the data table creation wizard to make clearer which fields are mandatory
When converting a CSV to database table with a matching XML file column names are forced to lowercase	BugFix	XAP-28592	We have fixed a small bug in the data table creation wizard.
